Hi everybody,


Here are the notes of our intense meeting.  The main topic was about  
the conflict and coming to agreement on how to improve the situation.

An additional email will come right after this one that explains the  
next steps and options for third party facilitated meetings.

Next week is the Community LIFE Network meeting.  The main topics in  
that meeting will be budgets, media outlet, outreach, organismic  
model, decision making and any other conflict issues as needed.

Center Meeting July 4th, 2008

Agenda

Appreciations & Concerns
Thank everyone for discussions on conflict issues over the last few  
days.
Concern?s about people needing more skills in running sessions,  
specificly regarding Jonathan
Appreciate Jay?s commitment
Appreciate Ethan?s cleaning and organizing
Concern?operating under the Wellness Community Transformation Center  
in having the main goal to help people transform from unhealthy to  
healthy states of being.  Has been occurred to some extent, and to  
others have been slowing its progress.  Needs to be addressed for  
good of entire community.
Appreciate Yoga, and working on consistency and knowledge?
Appreciate the space and being able to do massage etc.
Chance has a few interested students
AGENDA
Proposal for Ethan?s Healing and Medical Leave
Feel that Ethan would do good on taking a leave of absence for  
medical reasons and focus on healing, minimum of 30 days with max of  
100 days.
Encouraged not to ?Work? and instead involvement in the center for  
this time period would be on healing activities.
Could help to create support for community of the center etc.  There  
are healers at the center who would be willing to work with him, and  
would want to take him on as a student, massage therapists who would  
be willing to help during this process.
A persons overall health is related to diet and other addititives  
that come put into their body.
Discussion:
The healing that needs to be done is focused on Mental Health.
Ethan belives he is healing, and feel that some of the people haven?t  
been around enough to see it as directly.
Feel that he is being targeted for ?bigotry? on the side of mental  
illness.  Feel like the way it is approached is wrong.
Don?t feel that there is machurity in the issue, and feel a little  
nieve.
Therefore part of the mental health process in structuring an  
arrangement with Jake to apply abilities to have that happen.   
Working with greg feels has made that difficult.  On any standard.
In regards to Stephanie, it also applies to Greg in terms of using  
the space and cleaning up after yourself.
I have done a lot of praying about this, and done a lot of  
consultation to important people in my life.
It has taken a lot of emotional time and effort.
Extended extreme furthered extention towards greg?s and stephanies  
support of their programs.
Feel that some of these issues have been deliberately inflicted.
Promoting myself out of that function for a whole month.  Up to Jacob  
to support your function.  For one month.
Already completed a write up with Stephanie and wants to complete one  
with Greg as well.
When I feel there has been a certain level of agnowledgement, then I  
will be willing to support you again.
I don?t feel alienated, but do feel targed by Greg.
REQUEST
Take a leave of absence for one month, and when we get back we have  
an other community level meeting and look at your program level  
proposal and what you are trying to champann and when we will do that.
I don?t trust you as someone doing yoga practice her and feel that  
there could be malicious intent.
Deal of having a vote from taking a leave of absence as far as  
supporting their function, as far as the rest of it, feel that it is  
a little out of touch with the needs of the center.
Don?t worry about the entire community to read the write ups as needed.
Ethan is already revoking his administrative involvement on any  
support for morning programs.
It is up to Jacob to decide weather Greg should be continuing yoga  
classes.
Advising that Greg would take a 30 days break from the center?s yoga  
class.
Wants to clarify one thing about mental illness is based on anxiety.   
Not cognitive ability.  I am nice, I am a wonderful person etc.
Hypersensitivity.  Not a punitive vindictive relationship, but for  
the sanity of our relationship.
Greg apoligies to ethan for any verbal or physical offensive to Ethan.
Not trying to be rude or offensive.
Don?t think any thing I?ve done is worthy of an apology, but if you  
want an apology, then here I apologize in ignorance and ask for  
forgivness for what I have done even if it is unintentional.
Did not know or feel that ehtan had any form of mental illness, and  
feel anxiety is a state of mind, and is not an illness. Someone who  
is in anxiety of someone who is constantly in that state of being  
which has biochemical effects.  Anxiety is definitely a problem  
people face, and only hope to help aliviate anxiety and help releave  
that.  Feel that ethan has been a wonderful contribution.  Ethans  
presence has also been very conflictive and rude to the healing  
process and feel it is inappropriate to a center of this caliber.   
Hopeing you would feel sudelly and make appropriate changes.
Now brining these issues and changes brought directly to you to make  
you understand you presence.
Greg left
Ethan feels that there are few things that Greg said that aren?t true  
and feels that it is highly manipulative.  Like suttle feedback.   
Feel it was rude passive aggressive behavior.  Ethan is the one who  
had to write it up and surfice the issue.
He is not a doctor and doesn?t know my situation, and for him to have  
this assumptions puts the center at risk to self ordain what people  
have and how to get over it.
Don?t see the evidence that he is concerned about my heath and  
wellbeing.
I don?t see what he can do to help this place.
I feel he apologizes to get me off his back, but not because he  
really means it.
Feel this is adolescent and dysfunctional behavior.
People come in with this language and say they have all this, and  
then not brining any money in for paying rent.  On the other hand I  
am brining a lot of money in, and am helping leverage everybody on  
brining in more clients and money.
Yoga is serious business and that culture that we haven?t taped into  
see the squalor atmosphere and they can be turned off as they think  
we are still like kindergarteners.
Leaving it up to Jay.  Feel that he has already embarrassed me about  
it all, and talking about it and being behind his back.  I can write  
it up and let the whole community look at it, but I don?t think that  
will be good.
I wont be administrator, but we will get the copy machine up and  
functioning to bring some money in.
I am good with people.  I have conflict with some people.
I get frustrated with you, and very upset with you.  But not like  
him, I feel you are trying to apply changes in your life.
Conflict is a part of life no matter how you slice it.
I appreciate the yoga as long as they are confident it is a great  
discipline.  I would love to continue to be able to go to gregs class.
Gregs class as being in the morning, and needs someone to take care  
of prepping and cleaning up after the monrnig classes.
Ethan feels that he is a Sponsor.
Has concerns about leaving it all for Jake to oversee.  It takes a  
lot to run the center.
I want to be a really goood designer, he wants to be a really goood  
spiritual teacher.  I know that I would need to adapt myself and did  
a 4 year degree and a 2 year minor on top of that to learn what I  
needed to know to do.  With greg I don?t feel like he ..  They were  
rude to me, and I have the requency in her outline.  I feel that greg  
did feel he knew about the mental issues previously.
TREAT OTHERS AS I WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.  Is everyone involved in  
this situation following the golden rule?
Moving forward on this
For about 30 days Ethan is stepping down from the administrative  
role, and all liabilities and public accountability that comes with  
the position.
May support some activities, without burden or liability, to help  
some of the activates going on.  ?All by grace?
Continuing to move forward with the Media Hub and copy machine and  
leveraging the center and making money.
Request to Greg:
Greg shouldn?t burden Jake for his activities.
Request to Stephanie
Get in writing or verbally confirmed that she is willing and open to  
mediated discussion in safe space with Ethan.  This can be a simple  
email or phone call.  From there we will do our best to schedule a  
time for all parties to attend, possibly next week.
Clear Policies on cleaning the space and setting up and cleaning up.   
This includes the white board and floor etc?
Encourage everyone who truly feels a part of the community to come to  
meetings and participate in the community.
