We are finally launching two community initiatives that we have been working on for a long time.

The general goal of these initiatives is to help our communities prioritize, staff and fund a diversity of community projects and ideas.

We aren't quite ready to launch, but we are going ahead with an alpha version, because we are happy to announce that we have our first sponsor, who is willing to give us $1 for every person signing up for their new social network. Funds raised will go to the winner of the Community Elections and the most popular ideas developed through IdeaFun.

We are finally launching two interconnected community initiatives that we have been working on for a long time.  

One is http://IdeaFun.org &
The other is http://CommunityElections.org

We aren't quite ready to launch our final version, but we are going to launch an alpha version now, because we are happy to announce that we have found our first sponsor, who is willing to give us $1 for every person signing up for their new social network. All of the money we fundraise from our sponsor will go to the winning ideas from the Community Elections.  

Our goal is to gather up community ideas. Anyone can input ideas through IdeaFun, and then allow everyone to vote on them. The elections will build on each other, and the main Community Election will be the Annual one.  For whichever idea wins, we will focus all of the resources and energy that we have.  Additionally, we will encourage the community of global social movements to collaborate together on the idea to build solidarity and unity between movements across the world.
