Here are the notes from the meeting.  We talked about Plant rights  
and a lot else.

Next week we have Balance "Your Vision" Training.  Our main topic  
will be Fundraising, but we will also cover visioning and  
brainstorming future training sessions.

Plant Rights:
Anything that we have reverence to, we shouldn’t look at a world  
where we have distruction to, as that brings us to situation where we  
destitute our own society.
I have an issue about gas, I drive around in nutral.  Every time I  
stop and everytime I go, it is a lot of gas.  The “hurry up and  
wait”.  Waisting and blowing out so much fuel needlessly, people  
running in front of cars etc.
Reverence to god’s creations is what is going to sustain us.
Anthropology student;
Why are we doing this to ourselves and to our planet.
What is it about human culture that has created this disconnect.
In most indegent cultures the very function of the culture is to  
regulate behavior to do what will help the community live together,  
over the short term natural greed.
Our society supports the short term greed, which is the baseis of our  
economy.
In indigenous cultures have tactics to teach these ideas that you are  
call ing plant rights.
Man and nature are separate.  Humans dominate nature.  That world  
view dominates the world.
We are becoming a global culture, a single global ecosystem, and we  
have the possibliy to bring rights to the ecosystem culture.
I see a bit of hope in that we have become a global organizim.
Need to technologically get the feedback loops to work.
We really have no choice, there is a huge pressure with global warming.
There is a pressure to be a conspicuous consumer, over consumption.   
Over approach.  It is a social conept, I am waring this brand, and  
conveing by branding…
Every American is a conspicuous consumer, based on certain  
attitudes.   A homeless bum could be doing better than someone in inda??
Labling the brand and looking at me, the entitlement of being  
disposable, carless, casual dismissal, irrisponslible.
In the depression eara you scrap of the burnt part.
Tree Free conciousness can really help.  Why do we have to rape the  
forest when we can use hemp to make our paper.
A lot of the things we do are pretty impossible not to do because of  
the systems that we are imbedded in.  AT the city level and urban  
planning level…
There is a design and innovation design group.  Economic development  
of the city.
NEXT a young adults chamber.
Rights to Plants, even voting rights etc…  All ages should be able to  
vote as well
Every species is a function of their own exists.  Vote according to  
the preservation of the speaces.
Buildling, they scrape everything flat.
Not only do they scrape everything, they put the oven right to the  
refrigerator.
Evil is a dangerous word to use.  Very rarely is there a conscious  
decision to harm.  Lot of ignorance and disconnect.
Yes, but, it is bewildering to me, who would be so sick to operate  
under that intention.  Evil does exist as bewildering and wired to  
our thinking.  There is a deliberate conscious decision to keep  
people destitute.  To cut corners to get a quick easy buck on the  
backs of the poor.
Reverence for everything, even plants…



Next Steps (4:15)
KZSC is a wonderful station, and we could broadcast and get more  
awareness.  99% of it is great, however someone was bashing  
catholicize.  They were talking about transforming the government.   
Without a solution, need to get us on there.
Look at the KZSC schedule and get it on our calendar.
Schedule something for the urban campers association
Process note:  Conscious of how much I speak.  Two people quite.   
Make it hard by talking without pauses.  Set the intention to leave  
10 seconds or so between speakers.
Need to get a recording and how to get it on web
Chance has a minidisk
$100 can get a digital recorder to upload directly to a  computer
Be cognizant about gossip.  It is the worst, relationships can even  
be ended.
Help Brooking with getting info on volunteering, and research.
